Terms & Conditions

Renter agrees to adhere to the following terms and conditions to renting cart with Space Cost Cart Rentals LLC.

*Give the right of way to faster moving traffic when it can be done safely.
* The LSV must not be driven over curbs, off road or on beaches.
* Carts must only be driven on roads of 35 MPH or less and obey all traffic laws.
* Stay seated in cart and seatbelts must be worn at all times.
* Store the cart in a safe area, always take the key with you.
* Plug the cart in each night.
* No driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
* Always Park the cart in proper parking spaces. (you are responsible for any and all tickets or fines)
* No underage driver at any time or anywhere. (ALL DRIVERS must be 21 years of age with a VALID LICENSE)
* Please do not store or carry items on top of the cart.
* Only the amount of people the cart is designated for is allowed at one time on cart. Ex. 4 passenger carts can only have 4 passengers in it.
*Renter is responsible for all damage done to the cart while in possession of it.
*Please note, you are solely responsible for any citations or fines attached to our rental golf cart during your rental period.

Credit Card Authorization

The specific charges associated with your reservation were provided to the primary renter upon placing the reservation. Reservation was paid in full at time of delivery. All rentals are subject to a final audit. I agree to pay any additional charges that may occur while rental car is in my possession such as, but not limited to, additional days, traffic violations, parking tickets etc. This facility is independently owned and operated. You agree to pay for any Damage or Theft to the Cart, for any loss of items/accessories, up to and including TOTAL LOSS. Additionally, you authorize us to charge your credit card on file for costs related to these issues.

Insurance

It is the Renter’s sole responsibility to ensure liability coverage and property damage with the renter’s auto insurance company PRIOR to signing the rental agreement. Please understand, it is NOT the responsibility of Space Coast Cart Rentals LLC to ensure that the Renter’s auto insurance covers the rental use of a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV). Renter is responsible for ALL liability and damages that may result while operating a street legal golf cart, also known as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) as defined under the Florida Statute Chapter 320.01. The valid and collectible Liability Insurance and PIP of any authorized rental driver is primary for the limits of liability and personal injury protection coverage required by SS.324.021 and 627.736, Florida Statutes.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

A $200 security deposit will be charged first day of rental that will be refunded to the renter when the golf cart is returned in the same condition that it was delivered. Cancelation policy: 48-hour notice or more receives full refund minus $25 fee. Less than 48 hours will receive 50% refund.
